Individualized Care To Support Your Well-Being Through Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that means Union in Sanskrit, and brings together the mind, body and Spirit. It is not only a healing modality, but a way of life.
Private sessions are for people who do not feel comfortable in group classes or need individualized help healing the physical body in a specific way.
The first session with Ahlara is dedicated to learning about you and your medical history with an in-depth look at any mental, physical, emotional and Spiritual trauma. This sets the foundation for the individualized care in each class.
From there, each class will be tailored to aligning your body back to its Divine State through asanas, mudras, pranayamas and meditations.
Each class is taught from an Iyengar approach with use of props such as blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters. Ahlara teaches trauma sensitive Yoga, using a gentle approach, and incorporates Therapeutic, Restorative, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
